Definition

TTM (Tank Transfer Method) is a quarantine technique for treating ich + velvet without medication. Move infected fish to a clean tank every 72 hours, 4 transfers total.

Practical use

Free-swimming parasite phase (theront/dinospore) cannot survive >72 hours without a host. Each transfer to a new clean tank breaks the life cycle. Total treatment: 12 days, 4 tanks. Highly effective + medication-free.
