Definition

ORA (Oceans, Reefs and Aquariums) is a Florida-based aquaculture company that produces captive-bred clownfish, dottybacks, gobies, and aquacultured coral frags. The largest captive-breeding operation in the US ornamental aquarium industry.

Practical use

ORA-bred specimens are widely available through LFS + online retailers. Captive-bred ORA clownfish (especially designer morphs like the Snowflake, Frostbite, and Black Ice) acclimate to home aquariums far more easily than wild-caught.
